The rural accommodation “Mas Illa de Riu”, isolated and surrounded by rice fields and native fauna, is located just 3 km from the town of Sant Jaume d'Enveja and about 50 m outside the Riu Ebre where there are different areas for cycling and fishing.. It is, therefore, an ideal place to enjoy the spaciousness and tranquility of the Delta de l'Ebre Natural Park and its place.

Illa de Riu is one of the historic estates producing rice in Delta de l'Ebre.

The farmhouse dates from 1907 and for many years it was the family home of the Trias family, dedicated 3 for 3 generations to the cultivation of high quality rice. Half a century ago, around the property there were big barracks and the laborers's children attended school within the same country house. Today, the farmhouse Illa de Riu, well-preserved, has been converted into a rural accommodation for 20 people with 7 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms, large dining room for 20 people, living room, a large game room placed in the room that was once the school, barbecue area, kitchen and area for paellas.
